  1. I am an idiot, ok thats got that outta the way.

I have deleted the mpeg files which i used for my dvd creation, I want to copy these dvd's for a friend who has a dvd player that is NOT progressive scan.

How can i tell if my dvd files, or even the dvd;s I have created are progressive or interlaced.

A big thank You for the answer.

Progressive scan player matters not. A non-progressive scan player will still play a disc that's progressive, it just won't play it as progressive.

If it's progressive the frame rate is 23.976 fps.

Does the frame rate of 23.976 relate to both ntsc and pal?
