  1. I desperately need help on this matter. If any one can help. a thousand Thank You's.

My father in law and I were archiving all of his photos. We saved them as high qualilty Photoshop pictures.

I got Proshow to create a simple slideshow, nothing fancy, just captions, the standard trasitions, and sync'd to music. We first started out by just putting the photos in order. Then we went back to add music, it worked, for a bunch of projects, then my mother in law installed Real. The icons for the music in the Folders window changed to Real.

Everytime that I dragged a song into the project (even an empty one) it would load/import the song to 99% or 100% then it would stop. I couldn't add another song, and if I went to the Slideshow options page, it would crash. These songs are tape backups, nothing fancy. I used some of the songs that I had used on another project and it would crash. I reinstalled Proshow and uninstalled Real, but still no success. I manually deleted the Proshow folder after install, but everytime I reinstall it knows that I am a registered User. Is there a way to remove this?

Any help would be appreciated. I got really far in creating the projects and don't want to start over again. I increased the Windows Page file to over 1GB. I have 512mb RAM, could upgrading help?

maybe try converting the audio to a couple different formats first and impriting it, like mp3 or mp2 audio. Pro show does an audio convert so may its hanging here, if you make the files a little smaller might get you over the hump. Otherwise, I have no idea.

  3. I'll try, but what format 44khz or 48khz(?), bitrate, 16 bit. They are less than 4 minutes in length, so I don't know what happened.
