You know I just realized how pathetic my existence can be some times...when I have such a desire to play with photoshop, and lately no one here has provided me with any entertaining spoofs or parities to do...
I like this, but is it possible to have it look like it has macroblocks? lol

I'm gonna play around with Photoshop and Arts & Letters today (once I get the hated yardwork done) and see if I can come up with a logo too. The more we have, the better the chances we'll come up with something Baldrick would approve of. I don't think I can do nearly as good a job as Northcat, but my attempts might give him more material. I've got some great pics I can play with (no, not midget clown porn or vinyl-related)

OK, here it is. Before you laugh, remember that I don't have much of an eye for graphics design. I realize this is exquisitely lame, but maybe one of the graphics "big kids" can get some more ideas from it:

Edit: Image removed due to it sucking ass
I can hear the snickering already

Thx, yep.. 3D production actually, it's the newest version. Has better abilities for video among other improvements. Great program though, very versatile. Just wish it would import Uleads propietary path objects. It will only import .ai or create one from a image and the path editor sucks. Few other things I wish it had, like simply being able to put a scalable 2-d picture in it. To do that you need to place it on a 3-d model....... 100 hoops to go thru. I gotta lay off the metal look I use it too much.

The text bevels gave it away
I know what you mean, when I use Cool 3D I have a very hard time getting away from the metal/chrome looks myself. It just looks so clean and sharp. Also the reflectivity can be pretty cool. I still use Cool3D but admittedly since I got a hold of After Effects I don't use it near as much...like you said, too many things that should be easy at hoop after hoop after hoop.

Count me in for the t-shirt. I'll try to think of some clever designs, but we really need a pro like Northcat or AndyP1 to design it.
I've seen some good stuff from tgpo as well... he may be able to assist.

On the front have this as a picture on the right breast in a small version.

This should be listed down the back -
Videohelp.com - The place for discussion of VCD, SVCD and DVD capturing, Encoding, Authoring, Golf, Red Wingers, Firearms, Naked Geeks, Inflatable Love, Dribbling a**holes, Pretences, lazy moderators, Bad Jokes, Midget Clown porn Volumes 1&2 (but not that lame third one), Tasteless Humor, Kwaq templates, Beastial Fetishes, Nuclear Weapons and Guidance theory 101, Attractive penises, Newbies, Bowel Regularity, Fantastic Faltulences, Wives & Girlfriends, Anotomical vinyl dolls, Soiled socks, the Undead and Small packets of dry ready mixed gravy. But absolutely no Politics or Religion.
If possible, have behind the wording, a large picture of the 'Perfect Thong'.

I also thought of a picture of a DVD media with an eye patch and a pirate hat, but we don't want to have problems with the RIAA over that one.

Stealing this from someone else that mentioned MV was a video terrorist, how about a terrorist looking guy with MV emblazoned on his chest.

If I had time I could make up a logo incorporating all the avatars of the regulars but that would take too much time. Just thought I mention it maybe someone else could do it.

That would be for a Class T-Shirt. This is for the site. A Class T-Shirt would be cool with all of the regulars avatars on it. On the front would be a man holding up a DVDR with lightning coming down to it. The guy will be ripped-muscular with an eye-patch and a cloth cap. He'll be standing in front of a building resembling a PC on the staircase that looks like a keyboard.

Why not have one for the site and another for the OT Forum? Count me in.

The OT T-shirt could be as rude as we wanted, since it wouldn't be the official t-shirt representing the site - just us post whores Of course if it had Dr. Gee's thong on it, my wife wouldn't let me wear it in the house

I believe I got something everyone can relate to. In case I don't get a chance to do it (raining, power will probably go out) here is a description:

A coffee cup with a VideoHelp.com design on it sitting on a CD, sort of like a coaster. Above the image you will see "Where blank media is" and below the image you will see "a terrible thing to waste."

I know I'm a noob here, hopefully it turns out good.
