  1. Hi,

Sorry if this post in under the wrong topic, anyhow:

I have LeadTeks' external WinFast TV USB II connected to my PC, i have a coaxial cable plugged into it so i can watch CableTV through my PC and not just on the TV...

I'm after SOFTWARE, or any links (relating to this hardware so it can work) in order for me to descramble the payTV channels, ive searched and found none that work with my hardware, or cannot recognise it. I'm running XP with SP1.

Any help or comments involving or leading to help would be appreciated! Here's a link to the device if you need oinfo on it:

The output of your cable's decoder box should be baseband video. If necessary, rent another one from your cable provider, and feed that output into your capture card. Then you can watch the decoded output on your computer.

  3. It doesn't work that way, you wont find any info on how to do it... ..at least not on this site, that is for sure.

You need a capture card that supports encrypted QAM signals (which would require an decryption card from the cable company) to date there are none available.
