    Nero Burning Rom 6 giving me errors when writing to DVD-R. I cant burn DVD images, VIDEO_TS folders or Data DVDs. I never had this problem in the past and I use high quality Taiyo Yuden DVD-R as I have always done in the past. The firmware is up to date also. I get similar errors when using Adobe Encore DVD to burn which indicates the problem is with the DVD drive and not the software. Should I concider my Pioneer drive to be trash already after only 2 years?

    This kind of problem is usually caused by an ill-starred firmware upgrade to your DVD burner.

    hey dude i had the same error yesterday and messed up my whole day cos i couldnt burn i read up on it your dvd rw isnt trashed you need to take it appart and clean lens with a cotton bud and video head solution i done mine yesterday and it works now like new
