  2. I had a very simular problem after installing the Nemo CodeC pack once.

Mpgs wouldn't play, the dvds wouldnt play, etc even after 'uninstalling' the
CodeC pack itself and suppostly the files CodeC's it had installed.

Turned out it wasn't uninstalling the codec files just the Nemo Installer (guess thats what you would call it).

Been awhile but I believe I had to hunt down the *.ax files in c:\windows\system32 (for win users of course), delete them manually and reinstall the original WMP and PowerDVD to get things going.

Removing the codec's using regsrv wouldn't help either without deleting the files themself (atleast for me).

I'd suggest removing the codec pack and every thing it installed and seeing if that corrects the issue.

If not, reinstall WMP....if that doesnt work, hunt down the *.ax files in system32 the codec pack installed, remove them from the registry using regsvr and delete the files manually then reinstall WMP/etc.

Took awhile and alot of searching and research but finally got it going again. Needless to say, Nemo got chitcanned very quickly!
