I have been looking everywhere. There new model, SOHD-167T Black, does not state anywhere on any website that it can read DVD-RAM. I only know that their older model, XJ-HD166s, reads DVD-RAM because it's indicated on the box at Wal-Mart. But it cost too much. It's strange because Lite-On consumer service claims that none of their drive read DVD-RAM.....Ok? Makes sense Anyway, I was going to get a Toshiba, but I have heard that those tend extract DVDs slower and they will not rip protected DVDs.
