  1. Canopus Procoder.

The file started off as Mpeg, and when converted are now 2 files, one is a WAV file and the other has an .m2v extension.

I started off trying to open the orig file in DVD2SVCD but it wouldn't open it either. (could be that I had settings incorrect, Pretty new at this)

Is there an authoring program out there that will recognize those and author tham for me?

Thanks in advance. I have looked all over these pages and just haven't found anything.

Unless I am missing something, there is no way to open the files already encoded by Canopus Procoder in a Authoring APP. Yes I can open and re encode the Mpeg file in other author programs, but if posible I would rather not have to re encode the file again.

I have tried to open them in the free download version of Ulead Movie Factory 3, and Nero 6 but neither will let me select the files.

Would you happen to have an example of a Authoring program that you know opens those files?

    Thanks

Edit: might try it in TMPGEnc DVD Author free demo and see if it works.
    Any Ideas?

procoder is high quality s/w producing high quality output. Try other authoring s/w or try to rename your file to .mpg and see if your current s/w can open it. The output will be mpeg compliant, so it's not a format issue, just something w/ your current s/w. Try the renaming & see if it works...good luck, post back..
