I've been trying to encode a video with TMPGEnc and after it is done, the video looks like it is playing in slow motion and the audio sounds like it's coming out of a tin can. It is an XviD movie with the new codec. I've tried using Vdub to re-encode to DivX but it comes out the same. It's as if they are both deleteing frames and the movie comes across more like a slide show than a video. Has anyone ever had this trouble before, and if so what do I do to fix it so I can burn the movie to VCD or DVD? Thanks a lot in advance.

what is the frame rate of the original and what is the frame rate you are encoding it to ?

The origional is 25.000 and I'm converting to NTSC for a VCD which is 29.97 correct? This is all still pretty new to me. I checked the frame rate in Vdub. Can I change the framerate and encode with DivX in Vdub then encode with TMPGEnc to MPEG1 without messing up the video? Or what should I do?
