Until recently I have been using printed labels for my dvd\cd collection but my old HP office jet G55i is dying on me. I am thinking of buying a printer capable of printing direct onto dvd\cd surfaces. The only two reasonably priced units I can find are the Epson R300 (R200 is also available but I would choose R300 over it) or the Canon i865. The price of the R300 and the Canon i865 is similar but the ink for the Canon does seem to be cheaper. Has anyone seen or used both printers on discs or can anyone offer any comments?
Regards
Ian

Have not used the Cannon, but I have the Epson R200 and am very pleased with it. Prints are excellent on Ritek G04 printables.
