Anyone have first-hand experience with this card? Is it good at capturing to MPEG-2 on the fly?? If so, these sales are too good to pass up!

If your going to capture VHS or hi-8 with it be prepared to have to purchase additional external hardware such as TBC to get it to work. It's been my experience that the AIW was very picky about what it would record. You can have perfectly fine VHS tape that will look perfect on a TV and be able to be captured on cheaper capture cards and the AIW won't do it unless tou have a TBC, other external video enhancers may work as well. you can read the full story here: http://www.nepadigital.com/mv
As for the rest of the cards components everthing worked great and I was more than happy with it. -
The card can capture excellent quality MPEG-2 video.
