I've got an .avi movie (dvd-rip) on 713 mb, and I've got to chop it when I'm making VCD's out of it. I've tried AVI Chop, but somethings wrong! I can't play the files in any Media Players, and I can't burn them on NERO 5.0 , but a message comes up and says I've done an illegal operation.
5 minutes ago, i tried to convert it with AVI2MPG, but the followin message pops up : Can not convert compressed audio!
What's wrong? What should I do? Please help me.......!

Respect error messages!
If AVI2MPG can not convert compressed audio, decompress it.

For AVI, DivX,ASF use Virtualdub, first select File->Open Video File to open the video, then select Audio->WAV Audio to open the audio(you can open mp3 files also). Select Video->Direct Stream Copy and Audio->Direct Stream Copy and last File->Save AVI to save the new video.
