    DVD I backed-up has scracthes on back. As a matter of fact it is one scratch that prevents it from playing properly at a certain point. IOs there anything out there that can fix my scratch problem, other than backing the dvd up again? Thanks in advance for all responses.

    You could get a disc dr. it wil just buff the disc and remove a thin layer. or you could fill the crack w/ toothpaste. If its that valuable I would make a backup of it before it becomes unreadable though.
