  1. isn't there a way to resize an svcd to dvd standards without having to reencode it?thanks

    Sure, use DVDPatcher and fake it. I've used it on SVCD's before and patched to DVD resolution and they play just fine in my JVC. Your results may vary.

    Sure, use DVDPatcher and fake it. I've used it on SVCD's before and patched to DVD resolution and they play just fine in my JVC. Your results may vary.
    dvd standards != fake. . if you want to make a fake dvd use dvd-lab or svcd2dvd, they can import svcds without reconverting.
