Hi,
In Tmpg the standard template uses constant Bitrate CBR.
What i want to know is if i use Automatic VBR(CQ_VBR) will the encoded mpeg still be classed as VideoCD standard and be compatable with all DVD players?
Thanks

No, the Video CD 2.0 standard format is strictly CBR. That isn't to say, however, that it won't play in a large number of DVD players. But standalone VCD players and any DVD player that adheres strictly to the VCD standard will have trouble playing the video.
