  1. I used to use DVD Shrink last year as a one-step process to rip and shrink a disk.

    Last month, I downloaded and installed a newer version. It will no longer decrypt the videos. I have to use a two-step process by decrypting with DVD Decrypter followed by DVD Shrink.

    Why is this?

    It would be helpful if you could post the exact error message you get with DVDShrink (I'm gathering it's the "Cannot Decrypt VOBs" message?) and we can start from there.

    Next time I'll note the error message and post it.

    I was thinking more along the lines that the decryption capability was purposely removed from newer versions of the program.
