Internet Connection problem

OK...I bought Spiderman 2, the game...installed it, played it but was kinda disappointed in the choppiness of the graphics. Downloaded drivers for the ATI...(Couldnt remember if I did that after the last format!) As soon as I finished installing I defraged!! THEN...no internet...for 3 hours I have been trying to figure out what went wrong. It came to the point I was looking for my XP CD (Which I also misplaced)...I hooked up my girls PC directly to come on here, but couldnt. Her PC always has troubles...THEN...after HOURS...I just hooked my directly again and BOOM it started working. WTF!!?? Any ideas!??? Did I do something wrong!?

Maybe your ISP was down for a period of time and it was coincidence that it occurred right after your installs.

Yeah...thats what I thought...but usually they email us when they are planning maintenance and its usually only for a few minutes during the early hours of the morning.

huh, i wish ours was that considerate. does sound like ISP problem, but let us know if it goes off again...
