i use ulead dvd factory to convert divx's (and pretty sure i have done avi's) to dvd and burn and play on tv...now when i try it either a) imports them to story board and begins to burn/create iso takes about 5 hrs then fails or b)crashes whole program (encountered error)......driving me crazy, not keen on running thru complicated apps and taking 40 hours as one guy said?!?!?!

Iv'e been trying out TheFilmMachine, a freeware program that uses CCE or Procoder to encode. Decent quality and very easy to use. Works great for XVID video. Seems to work with MP3 VBR audio also.
