  1. I have a movie in SVCD forma and it does not have (Dutch) subtitles. I dl'ed a srt file containing the titles and want to transfer them onto the movie.

    1. Is there a method (and how) to get these subs directly ont the SVCD?

    2. Or is there a way to convert the SVCD to AVI, so I can get them merged in this way?

    Thx

  2. - Load the SRT file in the Subtitles field (Filters tab).
    - Enable "Decode with mplayer"
    - Preview with the PLAY button
    - Hit encode

    But my problem is how do I tell ffmpeg where all the files of the SVCD are?

    When I hit the button "Open" which file/folder do I select of all that is contained on a SVCD? The SVCD itself is on the harddisk.

  6. Please post a list of the files that you have.

    Foldername --> Filenames within folder:

    EXT --> scandata.dat

    MPEG2 --> avseq01.mpg

    SVCD --> entries.svd
    info.svd
    lot.svd
    psd.svd
    search.dat
    tracks.svd

    It is without any doubt that acseq01.dat contains the movie however when I feed this file to FFmpegX it produces no usable results just like this file alone cannot be used qith QT.

  8. I think VCDGearX has a tool to convert DAT to MPG.
