  2. I usually just take the video file & drop it into Neros dvd video data window. Can put in quite a few of them that way. But check whats written above.

Hi andkiich I looked at that guide for vcd to dvd conversion and for some reason I get an error msg "cyclic redundancy" when trying to copy onto my hard drive the third dat.file, so that is no longer an option unless it has something to do with the cd inserted. Do you have any other ideas which would enable me to convert the vcd movie into dvd?

Hi handyguy I haven't tried you option by just copying the cd to a dvd because I have other footage to add and that I would have to author. Any other solutions? And again I am not sure if it would copy as I am already having "cyclic redundancy problems by just copying the the contents of the MPEGAV as suggested by andkiich. Any more suggestions?

You don't need to convert from mpg1 to mpg2 - just up the sample rate of the audio from 44 to 48khz.

Buddha says that, while he may show you the way, only you can truly save yourself, proving once and for all that he's a lazy, fat bastard.

And tmpgenc dvd author can do this. Just dump your vcd mpg's into TDA
