  1. Hi,

    well i have just re install windows xp in my pc as i had before i formated my hdd, i have a lifeview 2000 video capt. card installed, i use inter video win dvr as the main capt. sofw. as i always have. After this new re installation of xp i tryied to capt some old vhs videos as i have done b4 but this time when i open win dvr i can see the video running but i have not sound at all, my pc have the sounds working fine, i can run any video and it has the sounds, i checked the program settings, winxp sounds settings, i even ran win dvr from win Me wich i have installed too in my pc i have video and sound fine but it doesn't work with XP, why? anyone have any idea? i have tried everything i could but i just can't get any sound i don't know what else to do.

    I hope i haven't missed any info, thank you very much.

    Do you have the audio cable plugged in from your capture card to the line in port of your sound card?

    I know you probably already did, but double check in the winxp sound settings, under "recording" and make sure the line-in is selected, not muted, and that the slider is not all the way down.
