Hello all:
I recently captured some low res material using the PicVideo codec (18 or 19 quality level). I plugged it in to TMPGEnc thinking that it would quickly convert to MPEG2 but it is taking about 4 times as long as a Huffy capture, all other things being equal. Is this normal? Any way to speed it up?
Thanks-

That's about right. You may want to do a video conversion only to speed things up a bit, or if quality is not that important, try Msin Concept.

TMPGEnc is slow!!
I use WinAvi, like 20 times faster and good quality, easy to use!!
