    hi there,
    i have copied a dvd to my HD using dvddecrypter
    when i burned the movie it palyed but it couldnt play the first play menu
    can someone tell me if i can burn a movie and specify the first play?

    When you copy a DVD (with your copy progam de jour) it will allow you specfy various things, such as what tracks, menus, etc to keep or remove. Decrypter should have kept it all. If there was a 'first play' item in the orignal it should in the copy.

    For movies you author you can specify a introductory video - below is a snap from Ulead Movie Factory. Should you not choose a first play video and have a menu it will display first. if you dont have first play vid or menu then the movie will start immediately

    As stated, if you used DVD Decrypter and NOTHING ELSE, then the first play menu should have been kept...
