What are you using to copy?

Try CloneCD or maybe even Nero.

    Hello,
If you have a tv capture card you could do a real time capture. I doubt this "copy protection" includes macrovision {unless this is one serious videographer}.

  4. Definately not microvision type of protection. I tried both CloneDVD and Roxio. Did not try Nero. Even copying file from VCD to C drive, I notice, only one file slow down copying process next to zero.

me thinks it's your system. Else this videographer should contact Hollywood RIGHT NOW
Don't have a fix for you though, sorry. Too many factors....

Else try CloneCD as mentioned by other poster, not CloneDVD. Or try Blindwrite, Fireburner, etc. good luck.

Check for scratches or smudges on the disc. VCD should copy almost as easy as photocopying it
