Yep...same here...the remastered version. Damn....the bonus tracks are better than some of the original songs..
I have 20 years of Tull so I am familiar with those already. Crossword is great.

Kind of a sad album because of the death of bassist John Glasscock (Ian Anderson called him "brittle-dick"). I wish they would give John a little more credit. He is mentioned in the notes but Ian never really makes it sound as tragic as it was, considering how young and talented Mr. Glasscock was. He is sort of a bass idol for me.

You ever checked out the Dun Ringill video from Slipstream? Ian with the binoculars. Great 80s style footage.

I saw Ian Anderson solo a few months ago. It was alright but very different than Tull and too quiet. The people in back of me were talking and that was very distracting. Not what you would expect at a rock show. Too bad he hasn't been able to sing well since the early 80s. I pretty much just spent the $50 to see a living legend. Show was not very good because the musicians were pretty much phoning it in too.

I'm definately not what you consider a Tull Master to be honest. I LOVE Stormwatch and Warchild....and the "Greatest Hits - Radio Play" stuff of course. Been looking into some DVD material but not sure what to buy. I'm also often searching on Ebay for Martin Barre's solo CD's. He has one of THE most unique styles of playing and his sound is awesome.

Been learning how to play that whole song through for 4 years. Probably will need at least another 4.

I still have a "trooper" poster hanging in my house, right next to the "Aces High", and "Stranger in a Strangeland". Don't listen Maiden no more, just can't bring myself to take the posters down. They have been there for many years.
