  1. Hi there,

I am rather new to the whole world of VCD making and have been reading lots of things on this site so i don't ask too many stupid questions! Unfortunately i think i am going to anyway!

I have been downloading video files from mIRC, specifically #videopimp (www.videopimp.com) and now want to burn VCDs of all the music performances i have got.

I have Nero v.6 and use it for burning cds, i have also burnt a trial VCD with it and it plays fine on my dvd player.

However, i don't really like the menu's that i can get on Nero. Is it usual to have a menu? I like them (my friend doesn't and burns all the tracks together). Is there another program i could use? i read about VCDeasy on this site, but know that my dvd player can play them and have far more than 2 or 5 video files!

So its more cosmetic questions i guess, but i would really appreciate any help or advice! The VCDs are only for myself but i would like to make them look good.

    Thanks heaps!
    Love Megan :)

  3. Thanks for your reply.

Sorry i didn't mean to talk warez, i was just trying to paint a bit of a picture as to where I'm at!

I didn't really understand that bit. Will NVE re-encoding my videos damage them? Or make them un-playable on my dvd player? They are NTSC and I'd prefer for them to stay that way! Its ok if it takes a long time to make the vcd, i just don't understand the encoding bit!!

    Thanks again!

I am tired, so chances are I am missing something. :P Are you trying to burn multiple VCDs onto a DVD with menus, or on to a CD?
