When I convert AVI to DVD then playing the resulting DVD on the iMac is no problem. Picture is geat, sound is great. Same result when I play this movie on a Windows XP system. So apparently the DVD is in order.
However very often (better: almost always) when I play that same DVD on my standalone Pioneer (4 years old) player the first 3/4 has perfect picture and sound.
However toward the end there starts a cracling sound and in the picture there are these bocks visible and even sometime the playback is fully stopped.
On DVD's that I buy there is no problem.
Anyone suggestion to what could be the cause and how to prevent this problem?
