    Or use VirualDub -> Full Processing Mode -> Compression -> Use similar compression codec but now choose new resolution from codec Configuration -> Video Tab. Audio -> Direct Stream Copy. Finally Save As AVI...

  4. I wouldn't use the codec's built in resize to resize it.

    At the minimum, use Vdub's resize. Select Full Processing Mode (which will allow you to use filters). Then select Filters. The Filters box will open up. Select the resize filter and select precise bicubic. Then go into compression and set your codec parameters then save avi.

    However, the best way to do it is to use AVIsynth to frame serve over to Vdub. There is plenty of info on how to use it, search for it. Look over the AVIsynth website, then look over the guides on www.Doom9.org then search the forums here and on Doom9
