I'm wondering if it's possible (through software) to pause, fast forward, etc the DV camera while video is being captured. While capturing footage in VideoStudio8, the camera controls are grayed out until the capture is stopped. Does another program allow for what I want? Thanks!

MainConcept has a DV Capture tool that, for my Sony DV, pauses, stops, ff, rw, etc.

I also have a Sony DV. I tried out MainActor, and it does let me control the camera while it's capturing - for about 3 seconds. Then it stops saying, "Capture stopped because the camera state was changed! To avoid this use only the program's remote control during capture." As far as I know, I was only using the program's remote control.. Any ideas?
Or other programs?
