    Hi all

I have a problem that is driving me mad. I'm trying to convert an .OGG file to DVD. I've followed the guides on this site and have converted the video to .m2v with no problems. However, I can't seem to extract the audio. I've been using VirtualDubMod (latest version) and when I try to save the audio as a .wav, it crashes with the message "An out-of-bounds memory access (access violation) occurred in module 'VirtualDubMod'." The same thing happens when I try to use the Demux function. The OGG file info is as follows

    Video Stream - XVid
    Audio Stream - Ac3 384kb/s (6ch)

    Can anyone help with this?

  2. Hi
what you have posted (As far as I know) is kindda self contradictory.

Would you please open the source video file with VirtuaDub and then go to File and then click on File Properties. Take a PrtScr of that and post it for clearer info.

    Thanks

skullfullomagots, Yeah, it would not be a OGG audio file with AC3 sound.

If it is OGG audio, then here is the decoder http://tobias.everwicked.com/oggds.htm

Maybe a mislabeled XVID with AC3 audio?

ogg is a container format not an audio format. ogg can contain vorbis (audio), speex (audio), flac (audio) and theora (video),

What you actually have though is an ogm, which is basically an extension of the ogg container to contain non Xiph streams, like XviD and AC3.

    You could try ogmdemuxer.
