  1. Like I said mouths move then you hear people talk or vice versa, in some of the movies I encode. It's the dvd rips and the smaller movies that I have problems with(the smaller movies seem to be compressed or something, have'nt figured that out yet) Do I need some special tools? Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to use different settings on my encoder when dealing with these movies? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  2. Theres a few good guides out there for fixing audio/video sync. I thought there was one here too, but I couldn't find it... I'm assuming you're talking about MPG, but read the AVI related ones as well - you should be able to incorporate some of that info and use it for MPG.
