does anyone know if the latest version of Anydvd works with Intervideo's DVD Copy 2?? I was using anydvd 3.6.1.1 and it stopped working with DVD copy 2. It kept telling me that it could not clone my dvd since it was css protected, so now I use Clonedvd and dvd shrink.

  2. If you were running the shareware version of AnyDVD it may have expired.. I have 3.6.x and it workes with IV 2 and Clone DVD.

I had the same problem with the latest versions of AnyDVD and Intervideo, but they worked fine together once I unchecked "Safe Mode" in AnyDVD settings.

    Hope this helps.

I was using the full working copy of anydvd with a full working copy of Intervideo dvd copy2 and InstantCopy 8 and they both stopped working, claiming that my css encryption was on. I tried checking and unchecking the safe mode and for awhile the safe mode did work.

An subtle key to using AnyDVD. Versions 3.8.x and earlier defaulted to Safe Mode and reset it to the default everytime you started your computer - (making it not work with IV DVD Copy 2 by default every startup). Also, if you already had a disk in the drive and unchecked Safe Mode, the program would not accept the change until you unloaded and reloaded the disk. (This gave me much confusion for some time because it seemed to work on some occasions and not others.) Ver 3.9.x has changed this default, so once you set it up to work with IV, then it should continue to do so. The latest version has worked flawlessly for me.
