TMpgEnc DVD Author Error? HEEEEEELLLLPPPPPPP!!!

I've searched for this issue plenty of times, but as I can see, it has never come up, except for where mentioned by me... I am having a problem with TMPGEnc DVD Author... I load my .mpg files into Author, to make a multi-track DVD, and everytime I try to burn this one DVD, it never works... It always outputs this same file as either 6.??mb or 99mb, when the source file that I am using is 600mb... I have re-encoded this file at least 4 times, each time with a different size, sometimes using a source range when encoding with TMPGEnc Plus, and sometimes not... I also have another problem DVD, but in this case, all of the TMPGEnc DVD Author VOBs come out fine (right size), but when I try to burn this using nero or the built in Author Burner, it fails at 26%, but continues to burn for the next 8 minutes, and finishes the DVD even though it says it has failed! When I burn using nero, I choose DVD-Video, and use the files that TMPGEnc outputs... The files I put into Author are the files I have encoded using TMPGEnc... Does this sound like there could be bad frames in the file that is continously output by Author as either 6mb or 99mb, or could it be a problem from the base file that I'm using to make the DVD compliant Video? I tried encoding the same base .avi file that I previously encoding with TMPGEnc Plus, with TMPGEnc DVD Source Creator, then put that file through TMPGEnc DVD Author by itself, and it worked! What is going on???!!!

if source creator worked but tmpgenc plus didn't i'm willing to bet you set it up wrong. can you do grabs of the settings tabs in tmpgenc plus?

I tried to get this shot to work, but it's not letting me upload the photo, even though I got it to 43.3kb... Anyway, it shows that the output file is only 3.62GB, when it (TMPGEnc DVD Author) was supposed to output the files to be a total of 4197mb... Also, the .ifo and .bup files of the first track (the one messing up on most projects), are only 20kb each, when the rest of the tracks .ifo and .bup files are 32kb each...

I just used Nero InfoTool, and it shows that my ASPI installation is corrupt, but does that have anything to do with the TMPGEnc DVD Author projects coming out corrupted or incomplete???
