  1. I'm trying to author a DVD in Maestro and would like to preview the results without having to encode the DVD every time. But every time I open Maestro it says I can't use the preview option because I don't have a decoder.

I saw on this page: https://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=8#comments that it should work if I just install the files Cinmhook.dll, Cinmst32.dll & Dvdpld32.dll in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32. I did but it doesn't change anything (I rebooted too). I also tried SYSTEM instead of SYSTEM32, same thing. I tried to install Cinemaster, as it seems to be the common solution but it doesn't change anything. I run Windows XP. If it's too complicated to be able to preview DVDs in Maestro, is there another software with the Real Time Preview option that does not require decoder dlls or whatever?

    Thanx for the help!

  2. Perhaps you should buy it? I should expect a properly purchased copy would fully work..

  3. In order to get realtime preview option you have to have Ravisent Cinemaster (2000) player installed on your computer. with it, it works flawlessly.
