I have Pioneer DVR-104SA that lost it's ability to read or write to DVD. CDR read/write works. I'm guessing it's because I burned a 4x disk but it failed after upgrading to 1.41 firmware. Does anyone actually know what happens to the 104 to do this. Is it something on the PCB board or the laser pickup? I know the Pioneer website warns of this.
