  1. Has anyone here had first hand experience with SteadyMove Pro? I saw this third party plugin in the Adobe store and was totally thinking about buying it. However, they don't seem to be offering a demo download so I don't really know if this plugin is a crock of shit or not. Hence the reason why I'm asking if anyone has had experience using this plugin. If so let me know what you thought. Also, if anyone knows where to find a demo download for this plugin let me know. I hate getting let down on pricey plugins that turn out to be crap.

The demo is on the Premiere Pro disk. You have to install it after you install Premiere.

I normally use a tripod, so I don't have many shaky shots. I did try it once on a short clip my Brotherinlaw shot. It worked OK, but it's not as good as using a tripod.

  4. This plugin is really amazing when you need it. It works great.

But I wouldn't use it as a substitute for a tripod, either.

More and more apps like Pinnacle Studio and Magix are utilizing similar technology. It works wonders for those with busted tripods. Not even a need to consider its repair. All those who bought tiny miniDV have no longer a need to carry one. Otherwise what would be a reason to buy a tiny palm-fitting cam to be always conveniently accompanied by a 10lb barely backpack-fitting marvel of technology. If leaving it in a far corner of a basement was good enough for "Blair Witch Project" there is a small chance you may be able to do whatever you want to do ... without it.
