    Thanks for the reference. However, it doesn't seem to open the first part of the DVD. It actually crashes DiVA. Any other tools?

    You'll have to give more details than that. What files are you trying to open? It will only open the VOB files, not the IFO or BUP files. It also will not work on encrypted DVDs... You have to rip the disc first.
