    I have recently started capturing my MiniDV tapes from my sony camcorder. I have been using WinDV to capture. Everything goes fine in the capturing stage but when I try to open the .avi file in Adobe premier, it opens the file at 360 x 240: half the size that it's supposed to. Pinnacle studio wont even open the .avi files. The files play perfectly in windows media player. This is so frusrating because I spent so much time capturing. When I capture using Adobe Premier, the file sizes are just fine. Could someone that knows what's going on please respond to this. It would really be appreciated. Thanks

    I figured it out. On all the captures, I had it set as type 1 avi and not type 2 avi. Does anybody know the difference? Is there any way to convert the previous captures to type 2 avi? Thanks
