I transfered 45 minutes of video from my Panasonic camcorder to DVD-RW in the the JVC using the iLink/firewire connection.

When I look at the contents of the DVD-RW, I see 3 VOBs (VTS_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB, VTS_01_3.VOB) all of 1GB in size and one VIDEO_TS.VOB that is only 40KB.

I'm confused. I was expecting one VOB.

    Can someone explain what happened?

The video is of a concert, and the VOB are "cut" during songs. This won't work for me. What do I do?

Why don't you get a commercial music dvd or any DVD, put in computer and take a look. It is going to be exactly like yours. Don't panic , what you see is a normal DVD-video structure.
