    I'm using smartripper, and when I rip the files, I get no sound... I use Power DVD to check the .vob files after I rip them, and it seems nothing I do gives me sound.

    The sound is in the vobs.
    You cant check with just playing a vob because to correctly play a dvd from the hd you need the almost the entire video_ts folder, read under play how to play ripped dvds.
