O.K., bear with me I'm new to DVD burning. I'm thinking of purchasing a DVD burner and was wondering if it was capable of retaining the 5.1 sound. I asked the same question in another forum, but received no answer.
Thanks,
Tider

Any dvd burner can retain 5.1 sound as long as the 5.1 sound file is kept that way when authoring or shrinking or copying. Its the program that you use to make the dvd files you burn that will change the file structure, the burner doesnt change any files.
I think,therefore i am a hamster.
