hey, just wondering why an avi with bad frames is capable of playing normal when you install divx antifreezer filter but when it comes to using trying to fix the avi, there is no way to fix it so that it can play normally (just like how it plays with the filter installed) without the filter installed. Is there a method to fix the bad frames of an avi without removing the bad frames or masking them?

With DIVX, a lot of time the index is damaged and that can cause problems. Some fix programs may just be patching the index. For a permanent fix, you need to remove the bad frames and repair the index.
