When i capture DV-AVI from my sony HC30 the kbps is 1785.72 when i edited the video with power director it comes out at 2132.11 then when i use uleads workshop 2 to add a menue and then burn it to dvd at best quality it converts it to 8000 kbps.
If i started out at 1785 kbps why do i end up with 8000 kbps. Didn't ulead incress the kbps even more?![]()

I just want the best quality video i can get i don't care about the sound.

aren't you mixing kbps with kbytes?
1 kbyte = 8 kbit. -
I don't know? Thats the info workshop 2 gives me. Any other tools that will show it?

Heres a picture of it if it works.

It says data rate 2132.11 kbps not bytes.
