Answer me this please? I can record a HuffyUV avi with IUVCR of some 100mins length and end up with a file around 55Gigs. The quality is terrific and the a/v sync is fine. I can render this in TMPGEnc and keep the sync. If I render it with cce 2.5 the mpv is the wrong length and a/v sync progressively runs out. Why is this? In that whole video IUVCR did not drop one frame? Anyone understand or can explain?

All I can think of is that CCE went AWOL when fed that large of a file.
CCE 2.5 is quite out of date.. can you upgrade? The latest versions fix a lot of problems. I have no problem with audio sync in 2.67. -
I encode just about everything with CCE and I won't even waste my time letting it do the audio because it always sounds like complete crap. Output just the video and encode audio with something else.
