I just got my new Sony DCR-DVD200 a couple days ago. The little dvd-rs can only hold 30 minutes? That kind of sucks. I was going to record my cousin's wedding, but it seems like I have to be ready to put in a new dvd all the time. Is there a way to record a couple hours worth of stuff continuously? This camera might end up on eBay.

I don't know much about Mini DVD-Rs for camcorders. But, you may be able to find a mini-DVDr that holds more stuff than the one you have. I may be completely wrong however. I'll check and get back to you.

yeah I just did a google search and looked on amazon and buy.com for higher capacity Mini DVD-Rs but didn't find any- sorry.

nope. mini-DVDR's have a max capacity dictated by their physical size... all you can really do is shift down the bitrate (quality) thus getting more time out of the same capacity. read the cam manual for how to select bitrates/quality
