Both my digital camera and my mp3 player take secure digital cards. heres my problem, I used the card in my mp3 player, but now i want to use it in my digital camera, so I erased it, even formatted it, but now my camera won't recognize it, nor my card reader. only my mp3 player will recognize it. Anyone know what the deal is?

I've used my camera's SD card for other things also, but I've never had that happen. Maybe the contact points are dirty. I've had to use alcohol to clean mine a couple of times and that has worked. You might also blow out the camera's media slot with some canned air.
If it works, don't fix it. -
I re-read your post again and thought of something else. If you have a card reader on your computer, open the 'drive' related to the media card and see if anything is still there and delete it with the computer. Maybe the MP3 player has stuck something there that will only let it work on that device. I've had to do that before.
If it works, don't fix it.
