Conversion problem, or something else?

Lately i've been putting my SVCD's onto dvds, well, trying to anyway.

i've used Nero and also Ulead DVD MovieFactory 3 Disc Creator, but i keep getting the same problem.

and here it is.....

The movies convert to dvd alright, but i'll watch say an hour or so of it, then all of a sudden it starts to stutter and sometimes just stop completely.

it's happend with every movie i've tried to put onto dvd.

is this a conversion problem, or is it something wrong with my burner?

i've also tried TMPEnc but as they are all svcd's the res. size is wrong for dvd. and TMPEnc plus wont convert them either for some reason.....

Are your discs labelled with sticky labels?

nah i always test them to see if they work before i put a label on it
