  1. This thread was inspired by the thread "How do these look"

    It's a striaght up (as far as I can tell) comparison between;
    - DVD2One v1.40 "Constant Ratio" (as recommended for long movies).
    - IC8 "High Quality" / "Anamorphic (16:9)".
    - DVD Shrink v3.2b3.

    I looked at compilation 1 only (for right now)
    VTS_01_1.VOB = the original of course
    VTS_02_1.VOB = pretty good, noticed pixelation around fire. Not bad though
    VTS_03_1.VOB = same as the one above
    VTS_04_1.VOB = worst of them all by far. I hope it's not IC8

    IMO,
    VTS_01_1.VOB = original
    VTS_02_1.VOB = InstantCopy 8
    VTS_03_1.VOB = DVDShrink
    VTS_04_1.VOB = DVD2ONE

    I agree with the above while looking at compilation #2.

    1 was original
    2 wasn't bad
    3 didn't cut it
    4 didn't cut it either but was much worse than 3

  3. DVDShrink 3.2b3?
    I thought 3.1.7 was the latest.
    ddlooping,what have you and Dr.Shrink been doing these past months?

    BTW...my money is on DVDShrink having the best quality.

  6. Along the same line...
    I have seen the result of DVD2One on the WS version of TROK...really soft and lost of color contrast. Personally DVDFab on 2 dvdrs looked great, just like the original .

    1. Original
    2. DVDShrink
    3. IC8
    4. DVD2One

    But that's from #2, unless they are in a different order for #1.
