Favorite TV when you were a kid

I think Helen Hunt was in diapers when this show was on.. I'll try to remember more or do some internet searching....but for what?

If it was a sci-fi type show, possibly could be something Irwin Allen wrote or produced.

I was trying to go by memory - if it was on during the time I was a kid, I would probably know it...just need a little more to go on.

OH.OH, CONGO! DANGER ISLAND!!!! I liked the Banana Splits too.

I liked the theme song for that - used to watch that all the time when I was young

That was a favorite of mine also - was usually on when I came home from school


I'm sure I watched most of everything that was on back then though 8)


Shows I never really got into were Star Trek and M*A*S*H - they just seemed sooo boring :P

Do you remember a show called Land Of The Lost? It wasn't a very long lived show but it was another one of my favorites. Also, what about Afraid of the Dark. You've got a bunch that I really liked Tgpo...thanks for the memories

Where did you get them or did you record them yourself? I tried to record one onto a VHS tape and transfer it to my computer but I didn't know when it was on so instead I got You Can't Do That On Television. I have a few episodes of both Pete and Pete and Salute Your Shorts on my computer that I downloaded but the quality on the Salute Your Shorts ones is shitty.

Remember when Most tv shows where live. For example Soupy Sales, Red Skeleton, and Art Linkletter. When ever a mistake was made they couldn't edit it out. Soupy Sales use to get away with a lot of dirty jokes.
