How do I post images on this forum

I have followed the instructions at the bottom of this page to the letter but can not get images to post when I start a thread or when I reply. Yes the file size is less than 50kb and the file format is .jpg. Here's what I am doing, please tell me what I am doing wrong. I type in the below info:

At the end of the link, it should be[/img]intead of [img]https://www.videohelp.com/forum/images/guides/p972048/

gitreel, thanks for the reply, just tried that and all I get on my post is a red "x" in a square box, no picture?

Are you trying images saved locally or images on the web?

it should be

images saved locally from my digital camera.

go into the body and do the brackets thing,

then scroll down where it says upload image, browse for the image and say open. Then you submit and it should work.
